Who we are
We're members of the Neurological Alliance and board members of the Gtr Manchester Neuro & Integrated Stroke Network. We play a key role in the Salford Royal Major Trauma and Critical Care Rehab Group, Transition Group for Neuro and steering groups for better community Neuro Rehab services in Rochdale, Trafford, north Manchester, Bolton, Wigan, Bury and south Manchester. We work closely with the Manchester Neuro Sciences Centre. We're members of the GM Wheelchair Review and the Patient Carer Network for Neuro. Increasingly our work includes Long Covid patients, their families, carers and supporting professionals. We advise on improvements to the Long Covid service in GM.
Our committee includes patients, carers and neuro professionals
We are a non-for-profit organisation with our own Community Interest Company - LiveEatTalk CIC to provide support and services through positive and purposeful experiences including vocational rehabilitation.
We have a small team of volunteers and actively seek engagement with business, charities and other organisations to enhance and improve what we do.
We work with other organisations and groups to achieve greater impact and effect change.
We are completely independent and provide impartial free advice.
But most important of all we're people just like you
