Parkinson’s UK are working to ensure that there's a comprehensive range of activities and services available to everyone affected by the condition, at every stage, at every age, no matter where they live.
We currently have a Local Development Team, made up of regional staff, volunteers and people affected by the condition, that oversees the delivery of services across Greater Manchester and Lancashire.
This includes support from local groups that cover Trafford, north Manchester, Tameside, Stockport, Rochdale, Oldham, Bury, Wigan and Bolton areas, a drop-in Didsbury Parkinson’s Café, Parkinson’s specific exercise sessions in Salford, a working age group in Trafford and lots more. NB These are currently suspended
